Greetings from the Los Angeles Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc
The Los Angeles Chapter was inducted at the Fourth National Convention in New York City on May 21, 1949. Following the induction 79 mothers met for their first chapter meeting. Currently, the Los Angeles Chapter has over 100 mothers and their families and is the largest chapter in the Far West Region.
As a chapter, we are committed not just to our children but all children and encourage them to embrace leadership skills that will take them from the classroom to the boardroom. We seek to enhance leadership skills by encouraging the children to participate in recreational, educational, social, legislative, health and cultural activities. We further enhance leadership skills through active participation in philanthropic giving and community service projects. You’re never too young to give back to the community.
The mothers of the Los Angeles Chapter encourage you to peruse the website and gain additional insight into the inner workings of our chapter. If you have any questions feel free to email me jjlosangelespresident@gmail.com
